TESOL Teacher Identity: Perspectives From Around the Globe
The establishment of a strong professional identity is
crucial for TESOL practitioners. This safeguards both the profession and
the academic discipline of TESOL. This is important if the TESOL
profession is to be a strong advocate, and source of best practice, for
English language learners. In this colloquium, TESOL educators from
around the globe share their perspectives on the challenges, and
victories, in developing or maintaining a professional identity for
TESOL educators in various regions around the world.
