Dear ALIS community,

We hope you and yours are well and safe. We would like to update you on the Applied Linguistics Interest Section (ALIS) digital platforms, and we would love for you to join us.

Our main page on my.tesol.org has the largest membership among all interest sections with around 1.9k members. On this platform, you can share your news, ask questions, or post announcements relevant to the Community. Click here to see our recent updates and to start connecting with everyone.

We are also available on Facebook and Twitter with 2,861 followers. Our platforms aim to provide interactive spaces to instructors, students, and researchers.

We are looking for ways to make our platforms more engaging. We have webinars planned for you, but we also want to have regular discussions about various topics in Applied Linguistics. If members have questions or are interested in particular topics, they can reach out to us using any of our digital platforms and we will find ways to facilitate sessions and workshops accordingly. You can also reach out to us at our email appliedlingis@gmail.com.

Mark your calendar for the upcoming webinar:

Our tools provide multiple opportunities to improve our teaching and learning process.

We hope our platforms revitalize your pedagogical practices. It is our interest that the Applied Linguistics Interest Section becomes a forum for all of us, teachers and researchers, to share innovative pedagogical and scientific practices. Let us continue to spark our passion and commitment.
