In this simple, hands-on activity, your students will create an origami "fortune teller" and interact with their peers to practice the simple future tense, which can be one of the more difficult and confusing tenses for English language learners. You only need squares of paper for folding; a handout is included in this article.
Unsure of how to include creativity and project-based learning in grammar lessons? Try these activities from the second edition of the best-selling book, New Ways in Teaching Grammar. These two free activities cover tenses, one through creative group storytelling and the other through a fun interviewing activity. Handout included.
