LETTER FROM THE CHAIR
Caralyn Bushey, The University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland, USA

Dear Fellow IEP-IS Members,

It’s hard to believe that right on the heels of the 2013 TESOL convention in Dallas we started working on the 2014 convention. To that end, I want to extend a sincere thank-you to everyone who submitted or reviewed proposals. The IEP-IS has a reputation for being one of the most robust interest sections in terms of submitting convention proposals, and this year was no different; we had 436 proposals for concurrent sessions to adjudicate. Needless to say, had it not been for the time and careful consideration that each of the reviewers devoted to their assigned proposals, the process would not have been as seamless. We could not have done it without you so again, thank you for the time you spent helping to make our interest section one to be reckoned with at TESOL 2014.

See you in Portland!
