Samuel J. Supalla is an associate professor in the Department of Disability Studies and Psychoeducational Studies at the University of Arizona. His research interests focus on studying and understanding the signed modality of language and addressing the implications for education and bilingualism with English for deaf children.
Jody H. Cripps is an assistant professor in the Department of Audiology,Speech-Language Pathology, and Deaf Studies at Towson University in Towson, Maryland. His research interests include an exploration of different English reading measures used with deaf students, and understanding the essence of American Sign Language in the learning process.
