One aspect of the TESOL CALL-IS mission is sharing resources, materials, and ideas in accessible ways with a potential global audience. In-person networking is a highlight for many at numerous conventions, and participation through the TESOL CALL-IS Community Page, listservs, and webcasts is still possible when in-person meeting isn’t. Inspirational, motivating, and instructive presentations within the CALL field always happen—and each presentation represents a resource to be tapped.

Annual TESOL conventions generate creativity, momentum, renewal, and action, and these can go a long way toward helping the students we serve. One way to keep postconvention ideas fresh and alive is to find new ways to share them. To this end, the CALL-IS is continuing to develop the CALL-IS wiki here, where you can find many of the resources presented at the 2013 TESOL CALL-IS Technology Showcase and Electronic Village Fair. Some of these resources include links to presentation websites, PowerPoint presentations, PDF files, and webcast recordings of selected sessions from the Technology Showcase and the EV Fair Classics, as well as summaries of EV Fair presentations (just added this month). Another new feature you’ll notice is the organization of presentations into their constituent categories (Classroom Tools, Self-Access, and Mobile Devices).

The CALL-IS invites you to take advantage of this developing resource.
