Hello CALL-ISers! We hope that all of you are enjoying the winter in whatever hemisphere you are! This issue previews some of the changes in the CALL-IS Electronic Village at the upcoming Convention. Details can be found in the letter from Christine Sabieh. In addition, Jennifer Meyer and Maria Tomeho-Palermino offer a glimpse of the Convention and Electronic Village in Denver. Back for a repeat performance are Jose Franco and Kara MacDonald, explaining how to use the Corpus of Contemporary American English (COCA) to teach awareness of collocations.
