LETTER FROM THE EDITOR
Maria Ammar, HEIS News Editor

Dear HEIS Members,

This issue is the last for our Computer Technology column editor, Dr. Alan D. Lytle. He has decided to leave the HEIS newsletter, and he certainly will be missed by his co-editors; Melanie Jipping, HEIS News’ book reviews editor; and me, the HEIS News editor. Dr. Lytle was doing the Computer Technology column even before I started at HEIS News, and I am happy to have worked with him. Having a team of editors to put together this newsletter helps drive each issue that we publish, and I am glad to have had the opportunity to have Dr. Lytle be a part of this team. I am certain that the HEIS News readers will join me in wishing Dr. Lytle the best.

As for the position of Computer Technology editor, I am writing all our HEIS News readers to ask for a volunteer to contribute to our online publication that we put together four times a year. If anyone is interested in becoming the next Computer Technology editor, please e-mail me at mmpta@hotmail.com. I welcome any questions anyone may have for this position on the HEIS News team.

Best regards,
Maria Ammar
Editor of the Higher Education Interest Section newsletter
