VDMIS CALL FOR PAPERS

As always, we warmly encourage you to submit an article to Video News. You can report on activities using video, digital media, art, or music you have had success with in the classroom, or if you still haven’t done so, summarize your TESOL 2012 presentation into a longer 1,000-word article. You may also submit announcements.

Reminders:

  1. 1 to 2 pages long. (around 1,000 words)
  2. Send your head photo (format .jpg) in a separate file as well. We really want to know you.
  3. Send your file in Word format (.doc).
  4. Biography of each contributor/presenter
  5. Teaser: 1- to 2-sentence general blurb about your article or report to entice the reader to go on to find your article and enjoy it.

Ideally, we are aiming for one issue in June/July and one in December/January. If sufficient submissions are received, there could be another in February/March. It would be also appreciated if you let us know which issue you intend to aim for.

Some of you may not be familiar with our newsletter. Click here to view our archives. Please enjoy reading submissions by our many innovative and talented TESOL members.

As mentioned in Leadership Updates, please send articles or reports for the 2013 spring issue (deadline January 4th) of our VDMIS newsletter to Laura Ray.

Contributions to the 2013 August/September VDMIS newsletter issue (deadline June 20th) should be sent to Joyce Cunningham
