MEET THE NEW 2011-2012 ICIS NEWSLETTER EDITOR
Laura Jacob

My life is a blend of East and West, for which I am thankful. I grew up in Japan, where my dad worked for an international firm. In college I studied Spanish and spent a semester in Chile. After college, I spent a year in North India, where I volunteered at the Mother Teresa Home and studied the Hindi language. I later married into a Sri Lankan family, whom I love dearly. I am excited to serve as the ICIS newsletter editor, as I am always seeking to learn and grow in the area of intercultural communication. It is an honor to learn from you!
