LETTER FROM THE CHAIR-ELECT

Hi all! My name is Kimberly Kenyon, and I am the new chair-elect for the TESOL ITA Interest Section. I have been involved with TESOL since the early 1990s and am a former member-at-large and secretary of the ITAIS. I am the associate director of Cornell University’s Center for Teaching Excellence and Director of the International Teaching Assistant Program (ITAP).

I am honored to be the chair-elect of the ITAIS. It is my hope to use 2011-2012 as a year of learning leadership skills and identifying opportunities that we might address in our section. I believe that we can build stronger and more synergistic relations with associated interest sections and look forward to hearing from other ITA leaders as we move ahead.
