LETTER FROM THE CO-CHAIRS Kate Pope, North Central College, Naperville, Illinois, USA
Dear PAIS Members, As we near the end of the academic year, a busy time for program administrators, we find ourselves inspired not only by the engaging and informative discussions we have had over the last year, but also by the meaningful connections we have made with many of you. In particular, we are re-energized and excited to build on the momentum and the strong leadership of Brad and Pamela, and would like to thank them for their dedication to this interest section through their service as Co-Chairs last year. As Co-Chairs, we are looking forward to continuing the Informal Chat series as a space for colleagues from around the globe to have stimulating discussions that foster innovation. We are excited to work with the leadership team to engage the PAIS community through dynamic discussions on myTESOL and impactful newsletter submissions. In our Open Meeting, we enjoyed engaging with PAIS members to discuss how we can further the important work of this interest section. We recognize that many of our administrative needs have shifted over the last year and understand that there may be ways that we can better support administrators. If you were unable to attend the meeting, we encourage your contributions through the survey posted on myTESOL. Further, if you are interested in leading an Informal Chat, submitting a newsletter, or learning about how you can work more closely with the PAIS community, please connect with us. We are thankful for a strong leadership team that includes returning and new members and multifaceted skill sets. We would like to thank Laura Shier for continuing to serve as the Newsletter Editor and appreciate the hard work that Laura and Christian Gomez put into developing this newsletter. We look forward to working with you this year. Sincerely, Kate Pope Laura Ray PAIS Co-Chairs
