SYMPOSIUM ON SECOND LANGUAGE WRITING: 2011 PREVIEW
Paul Kei Matsuda, Arizona State University, USA

Writing for Scholarly Publication: Beyond "Publish or Perish"

June 9-11, 2011

Taipei, Taiwan

The preparation for SSLW 2011 is well under way. We have received a large number of strong submissions and will be sending out acceptance letters soon.

This year's theme, "Writing for Scholarly Publication: Beyond 'Publish or Perish,'" is intended to address the growing pressure for international publication from a critical standpoint. Presentations will also address many other topics related to various aspects of second language writing theory, research, instruction, assessment, and program administration.

Registration information is now available. For more information and updates, please visit the symposium Web site at http://sslw.asu.edu/2011/.
