Letter from the Editors

On behalf of the editorial staff, I’d like to welcome two new members to our team.

Ilka Kostka, our new book review coeditor, recently received her PhD in bilingual education from New York University. Her research interests include second and foreign language academic writing instruction, textual borrowing, and matched text detection software.

Peggy Lindsey has joined the editorial staff as an associate editor. She is currently a lecturer in the Department of Writing and Linguistics at Georgia Southern University. She is interested in exploring issues of second language writing in first-year composition and writing across the curriculum.

Both have taught and studied in a variety of educational contexts and thus bring a wealth of knowledge to our team.

If you’d like to get involved in SLWIS, consider joining the team as an associate editor. Contact me for details.
