LETTER FROM THE EDITOR

Dear TESOL Affiliate Leaders:

It’s hard to believe that my first year on the TESOL International Affiliate Leadership Council (ALC) as Member A is almost over. I’ve learned a great deal about collaboration, creativity, and communication. I often tell my colleagues that my time with TESOL boards—the ALC and my affiliate board—is some of the best professional development of my career.

My duties as Member A include putting together this newsletter. I received interest from TESOL affiliates around the world and from established and new affiliates. The newsletter also includes a sneak peak of the best-of-affiliate sessions, a preview of what you will encounter in Seattle.

I am most grateful for the help of my colleagues during my first year on the ALC. This board truly represents TESOL’s core values. I hope you enjoy this issue of TESOL Affiliate News, and I hope you find the information useful. I look forward to seeing you in Seattle and serving another year on the ALC board.

Best,

Elizabeth
