Georgia College & State University’s (USA) current
initiative is using shared live videoconferencing classes with other
countries to promote intercultural exchanges. This article reports on
the lessons learned from a pilot exchange in 2011 with a university in
Spain. Although such exchanges are short-lived, participants in this
study reported that their beliefs, many born out of lack or
misinformation, were challenged, leading to willingness for more
open-mindedness about other cultures. Read More |
