TEIS VOICES

Hello, I am Susan Morris-Rutledge, and I am an assistant professor in Secondary Education and Administrative Leadership at California University of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania. I am privileged to teach a course concerning English language learner needs in a small mainstream teacher-preparation program. I have taught the course for only one semester and one of the greatest benefits is seeing students realize that they are not just teaching content: They are teaching language! One of the greatest challenges, though, is helping them analyze their content-area language. I would really appreciate any suggestions and assistance! My email is morrisrutledge@calu.edu.
