Hello there! Welcome to the Spring 2011 edition of The Affiliate News. The Affiliate News is a great forum for affiliates around the world to come together and share experiences about their events in the TESOL world.

In this newsletter, Misty Adoniou, the chair, introduces our incoming member A, Janet Pierce. We also meet the confirmed Six Best of Affiliates! Do not miss their presentations at the scheduled times and locations as detailed in this issue. We have information from Don Weasenforth, ALC past chair, on the affiliate colloquium “English As an International Language and Its Implications for Policy and Pedagogy.” We also have some news from MATE – TESOL Haiti and NELTA – Nepal.
