NELTA’S 16TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

Nepal English Language Teachers’ Association (NELTA) will hold its 16th International Conference February 18-20, 2011, at DAV Sushil Kediya Vishwa Bharati Higher Secondary School, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur, Kathmandu, and February 22-23, 2011, at Paschimanchal Sainik School, Pokhara. The conference is a professional get-together of a large number of ELT practitioners, methodologists, textbooks/materials writers, and teacher-trainers from all parts of Nepal and abroad. The participants at the conference are ELT practitioners from public as well as private educational organizations and from all levels of education (primary to university). The theme of the 16th International Conference is “English in Multilingual and Cross-cultural Context: Exploring Opportunities and Meeting the Challenges.”Papers were also accepted on ELT and other topics.


The conference will feature plenary sessions, talks/papers, workshops, poster presentations, and more. Exhibitions of ELT materials and books will be held by Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, Routledge India, Pearson Education, and several local publishers.
