BEST OF AFFILIATES AT TESOL NEW ORLEANS

Last March, I had many wonderful opportunities at TESOL to share and learn information with colleagues from around the world. As one of the copresenters from Three Rivers TESOL in western Pennsylvania who presented in the Best of Affiliates sessions, I had the opportunity to share information on ways to use technology in the ESL/EFL classroom. The title of our presentation was “Using Technology to Enhance and Expand ELL Instruction.” Having presented at our affiliate, my copresenter and I then had a chance to present at TESOL when our proposal from our affiliate was accepted. I would encourage other affiliates to examine their own conference presentations and submit their Best of Affiliates proposal for TESOL 2012 in Philadelphia. As you can see from some of the Ning photographs, there were other presentations from affiliates around the world such as Argentina TESOL, ELTA (Serbia), Venezuela TESOL, Indiana TESOL, and Virginia TESOL as well Three Rivers TESOL. It is an enriching experience and helps promote interaction between members of affiliates and TESOL.
