Other Conferences CLOSER CONNECTIONS CONFERENCE
This joint conference, sponsored by Lutheran Social Services of South Dakota & Dakota TESL and Dr. Wayne G. Sanstead, Superintendent, North Dakota Department of Public Instruction, will be held October 3-4, 2011, at the Best Western Plus Ramkota in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The keynote speaker, Dr. J.C. Chambers, will speak on deep brain learning and teaching students who have experienced trauma. Other sessions will cover teaching ELS/ESL, SIOP, refugee and immigration issues, cultural panels, and employment.
