Hello friends and neighbours,
What an exciting time of
year! This will be the first TESOL I have been able to attend in several
years, so I am especially excited to be renewing old acquaintances,
putting faces with the names of new friends I have met long-distance,
and catching up on all the new ideas germinating in our field.
Speaking of new ideas, that’s what this issue of InterCom is all about: a new book that might interest
you, a new look at things we sometimes assume to be universal, a new
website to “story” our lives as interculturalists, and a new convention
with lots of great content we hope you won’t miss.
I hope to see many of you in Portland soon. Regardless, I hope
you enjoy the spring issue of the ICIS newsletter—many thanks to our
contributors and tireless publishing staff.
Cheers,
Kris
