Hi, ITA colleagues.
First, I want to apologize for this newsletter arriving late.
It is supposed to be an October edition, but it is such a busy time,
especially when it’s your first semester in a PhD program, so this time
it’s the November edition.
However, although it is late, this edition will not disappoint!
To begin with, we have two articles that offer contrasting
perspectives. The first article represents the perspective of
institutions that receive ITAs and the experience of creating an ITA
handbook, and the second presents themes of research that has been done
on the perspectives of ITAs themselves. Finally, we have a fascinating
article that highlights the current state of knowledge among ESOL
educators about Bloom’s affective domain.
I hope you enjoy reading this edition, and while you do, please
start thinking about what you’d like to submit for the next one, to
come out at the end of February or beginning of March.
