DISCUSSION OF CRITICAL INCIDENTS IN TEACHING: EXPERIENCED ITAS SHARE PERSPECTIVES IN A WORKSHOP ON ZOOM |

New ITAs benefit from learning from experienced ITAs. To facilitate a discussion, the author had students watch videos of critical incidents in teaching prior and during class. Zoom made it possible for former students to attend the class discussion. The experienced ITAs offered solutions to potential challenges with teaching, which led to broad discussion that assuaged worries and improved the overall confidence of the new and future ITAs.
