WELCOME FROM THE EDITOR

Hi fellow ITA IS members!

Just a quick hello in order to introduce myself. I am the Associate Director of the Intercultural Communication Center at Carnegie Mellon University, and I will be the newsletter editor for the next year.

I hope you enjoy this newsletter that we have put together, and I really hope that you will submit an article for the next newsletter. What have you found to be useful or exciting in your own teaching or testing? Write an article about it. It can be an explanation of an activity or class that you have developed, a review of a book or article that has impacted your teaching or testing, a discussion of Web sites that you find useful in your work―whatever you think is interesting and relevant to our community. You can find the submission guidelines in the "About This Community" section of this newsletter.

All articles for the fall issue of the newsletter will be due by September 30, but you can send articles to me at any time up to that date, even during the summer. Some of you may find that easier than during the academic year!

I hope you have a great summer and see you in the fall!

Rebecca
