International Teaching Assistant Professionals,

Welcome to this special, September edition of the International Teaching Assistants Interest Section newsletter. This newsletter aims to strengthen the collaborations happening within the international teaching assistant (ITA) professional community by highlighting teaching tips, new online tools, and professional development opportunities for us as we start a new semester.

The COVID-19 Pandemic has touched all aspects of the ITA experience, including our students, our teachers, and how we administer ITA programming. Many of us, in a flurry of activity, launched new orientations, updated our classes, and revised our testing protocols and approaches to accommodate the needs of our students.

As we continue to reimagine how we support ITAs, please consider sharing your ideas and experiences in our next newsletter, slated for November/December. Please send in submissions by 6 November. We would love to hear how your changes have supported your students; new collaborations; reviews of digital platforms, software, and tools; and any other ITA-focused ideas you would like to share.

Please enjoy.
