LETTER FROM THE EDITORS

Jacqueline Evans & Hannaliisa Savolainen, Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff Arizona, USA

Dear PAIS Community,

Jacqueline Evans

Hannaliisa
Savolainen

We’re very excited to bring you the latest PAIS newsletter with an article on language assessment and evaluation and another from our incoming chair on budgeting, as well as a review of Carter Winkle’s new book, University Partnerships With the Corporate Sector.

This newsletter is a forum for our community to share ideas and best practices in administration, and we look forward to receiving your submissions and learning from one another. As you may know, the issue we published in October was actually the first in several years. We want to keep the momentum going and expand our newsletter with even more high-quality contributions from you. Please consider contributing articles and book reviews for the next issue in October. The upcoming TESOL convention and PAIS presentations provide great material for articles and reviews.
