LETTER FROM THE EDITORS

Jackie Evans

Hannaliisa Savolainen

Dear PAIS Community,

We’re very excited to bring you the latest PAIS Newsletter. The articles are diverse this time, covering accreditation, the role of principals in K–12 environments, English in military schools in Europe, and strategies for institutional changes. We thank our contributors for such thoughtful articles. We hope they will inspire you to contribute your own article.

We are also very excited about the new “Meet the Member” column. This is something we want to include in all future newsletters, so please consider contacting our member column editor, Linda Wesley, for an interview or to suggest someone to contact.

Another way to contribute is to review a book on program administration or leadership that every administrator should have on his or her bookshelf. We all have our favorites, so let’s share the wealth! If you have a book review to include, please contact our book review editor, Lara Ravitch.

Finally, we want to thank the PAIS leaders and community for the support we’ve received with the newsletter. You are a wonderful group to work with, and we feel quite fortunate to serve as your newsletter editors.

Warm regards,

Jackie and Hannaliisa
