STATEMENT OF PURPOSE


TESOL's Program Administration Interest Section (PAIS) addresses the special needs of ESOL program administrators at all levels and in all fields. PAIS supports professional and ethical administration in English language programs regardless of type, setting, geographical location, or size.

Goals

  • Recognize the unique role program administrators can play in fostering professionalism
  • Ensure that ESL/EFL programs are effective in meeting institutional and student needs
  • Strengthen managerial and leadership skills
  • Provide a forum for information exchange
