MESSAGE FROM THE EDITOR

Dear HEIS Community,

I wanted to share with you that our Chair, Katherine Earley, has decided to step down from her position. Our Past Chair, Kevin Martin, has volunteered to serve another year as chair of the Higher Education Interest Section (HEIS). Kevin and our new Chair-Elect Maria Rossana Ramirez Avila are working together as a team to serve the needs of HEIS, which include many responsibilities such as membership and preparing for next year’s TESOL International Convention & English Language Expo in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, which will take place 12–15 March 2019.

If you are interested in writing for the newsletter or being on the editing team, please contact me and let me know. We are always grateful for new contributors and volunteers to help us build our next issue!

Best regards,

Maria Ammar
