ADVOCACY UPDATES
Public Laws: S. 1338 / PL 111-306 / Accreditation of English-language-training programs passes Signed by President Obama on December 14, 2010, the law amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to require that a nonimmigrant foreign student seeking to enter the United States to study at a language-training program enroll at a language program that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education. The law provides for a specified 3-year exception to such requirement.
